Dervish is a 1960s psychedelic film experienced entirely from inside Edgar's trip. It runs on dream logic, not plot: geography jumps without warning, the time of day changes mid-scene, and the groove — never background, always the weather — is the only narrator. There is no dialogue; everything is told in faces, bodies, and light.
Across Volume One — Looking for My Friends — Edgar and his friends whirl from Woodstock to swinging London, Paris, Berkeley, Goa, Tokyo, the Sistine Chapel, Amsterdam, Deià, Nazaré, New York, Caracas, Iceland, and Washington, D.C. — chasing beauty, sensation, and one another, ending each chapter in a spin of color as the dream resets.
